Health Ceck-up Camp in Slums. 300 SLUM PEOPLE BENEFITTED
The Lions Clubs of Chhatarpur creates history in the fields of SERVICE TO POOR. On 22nd Sep` 01, the Club hosted a massive "Health Check Up Camp" in the slum area called Toriya Mohalla. A team lead by Dr Rajesh Khare which include Dr(Mrs) P. Khare, Dr Rakesh sahay, Dr. Puneetha and Dr.Jairaj Brown took the charge of providing medical help to the downtrodden people. A visiting Dr. Christophar from England also provided his service. More than 300 ailing people were fiven medicine and advice,free of charge. The patients include 105 people suffering from eye problems. The surgical remedy to needy ones will be provided in due course of time . The club official propose to organize such camps in the other parts of the city at frequent intervals. The local people expressed their happiness and thanked the club for such a unique activity of which the benefit went to needy ones.
